Waterloo Unlimited

Upcoming 2016-17 Programs

Waterloo Unlimited is a unique, transdisciplinary high school enrichment program at the University of Waterloo.  Rather than focusing on enrichment in a particular subject, each Waterloo Unlimited experience revolves around a different transdisciplinary theme.  Each theme draw from UofW's six faculties: Arts, Applied Health Sciences, Engineering, Environment, Mathematics, and Science.

Grade 12: Road Map to Research (November 16-18, 2016)

A pre-university experience including an introduction to reading academic papers, explore new discoveries with professors, and engage with student researchers.

Grade 11: Theme of "Design" (March 13-17, 2017)

Spend a week exploring the theme of "Design", from engineering and the environment, to science fiction and virtual reality.

Grade 10: Theme of "Change" (May 14-18, 2017)

Students consider the perspectives of scientists, engineers, writers, and philosophers as they examine the dynamics of change in technology, society, politics, environment, etc.
