Queens Summer Enrichment Program

SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS AT QUEEN’S UNIVERSITY

For bright students in grades 7 through 11 who are looking for a unique way to spend the summer, the Enrichment Studies Unit (ESU) at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario is pleased to offer the following programs (PDF flyer also attached):


SEEQ – Summer Enrichment Experience at Queen’s 
August 10 to 15, or August 17 to 22, 2014 (6 days)
$775.00 CDN
Spend a week examining an academic topic of your interest, while living as a summer student at Queen’s University. There are six different courses to choose from: Engineering, Creative Writing, The Social Self, Medicine, Pathology and Robotics. Includes premium university dorm accommodation, all meals, course tuition and supplies, and lots of fun extra-curricular activities.  If you want to attend for both weeks, there is also an excursion option available for the weekend between. iSEEQ – International Summer Enrichment Experience at Queen’s
August 9 to 23, 2014 (15 days)
$2950.00 CDN
Designed especially for students travelling from afar, this includes both weeks of SEEQ (as above), the weekend bridging option, accommodation, meals and activities, as well as airport pick-up and additional special events and activities.

Summer Sports Academy – NEW!
July 27 to August 1, 2014 (6 days)
$925.00 CDN
A new partnership between ESU and Queen’s Athletics and Recreation: Students spend half each day learning about sports related courses, like kinesiology, medicine, and sport psychology, then spend half each day developing sports skills in the gyms and on the fields. Fee includes all tuition, coaching, meals, accommodation, and evening activities too. This new course is sure to be popular, so register soon.
